Territory Sales Manager

This position will be responsible for building and expanding Gram Power’s business for the specific region that they are hired for. The position will be establishing our channel partner network in the respective areas, dealing with State Utilities for new projects, and exploring new business opportunities for Gram Power’s technologies. The position will also build and manage a team of their own as the business in their respective areas grow.

Job Location: Delhi NCR, Pune/Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata

Experience Desired: 4+ Years

Education Background: Bachelors/Masters in Engineering (Preferably Electrical/Computer Science)

Job Responsibilities

Planning

  • Manage complete sales cycle for Gram Power’s existing product line in allocated areas
  • Identify new business opportunities for our various technologies
  • Manage existing clients in the area and expand business volume with them
  • Provide necessary client support post sales for any product customization
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Manage complete business development team for respective areas
  • Build Gram Power’s dealer/channel partner network in respective areas
  • Build and manage relations with Utility clients
  • Assume responsibility for tendering process for all projects in respective areas
  • Share periodic MIS reports to head office as per requirements

Skills Required

  • Strong and relevant business network to aid in Gram Power’s sales in Utilities, Real Estate, Industries, and Restaurants
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel for majority of the month
  • Prior experience in using tools for complete sales cycle management
  • Prior experience in recruiting and managing a team
  • Demonstrable experience in selling a technology product/service
  • Past experience in dealing with tenders and electric Utilities – a big plus
  • Strong analytical and MIS preparation skills
  • Excellent communication skills
